14" CHAINSAW-CARVED REDWOOD SITTING BEAR
One-of-a-Kind Wood Sculpture by Jess Alice Full of character and individually carved, this sitting bear is a one-of-a-kind redwood sculpture designed to bring warmth and personality to your home, cabin, garden, entryway, or business.
Measuring approximately 14 inches tall and 7 inches wide, the bear has a substantial presence while remaining compact enough for shelves, hearths, porches, tabletops, and seasonal displays. Each bear is individually chainsaw-carved and finished by artist Jess Alice. Burned detailing creates rich contrast throughout the fur while leaving portions of the natural redwood exposed, highlighting the warmth, grain, and individual character of the wood.
ONE OF A KIND No molds. No mass production. Each Jess Alice sculpture begins with an individual piece of timber and is carved by hand. Natural variations in the grain, knots, shape, and carving ensure that every bear has a personality entirely its own.
NATURAL REDWOOD Redwood is naturally durable and well suited for both indoor and outdoor display. As genuine wood responds to changes in temperature and humidity, natural checking and small cracks may develop over time. These are normal characteristics of solid-wood sculpture and become part of the individual character of the piece. For outdoor display, periodic application of an appropriate exterior wood sealer is recommended to help preserve the finish.
