CHAINSAW-CARVED CEDAR EVERGREEN TREES
One-of-a-Kind Wood Sculptures by Artist Jess Alice. Inspired by the forests of Northern California, these hand-carved evergreen trees bring the natural beauty of the woods into a simple, sculptural form. Available in approximately 12", 14", and 16" sizes, each tree is individually chainsaw-carved from solid cedar. Layered, sweeping branches create depth and movement, while a rich forest-green finish emphasizes the carved texture of the foliage. The exposed natural cedar trunk provides a warm contrast and allows the character of the original wood to remain part of the finished sculpture.
Beautifully displayed individually or grouped to create a small forest, these trees make distinctive accents for a mantel, hearth, entryway, tabletop, cabin, lodge, office, covered porch, or garden. Their classic evergreen form works beautifully for the holidays while remaining natural enough for year-round display.
ONE OF A KIND No molds. No mass production. Every Jess Alice tree is individually carved and finished by hand. Variations in height, branch pattern, grain, knots, and natural markings give each sculpture its own character and ensure that no two trees will ever be exactly alike.
NATURAL CEDAR & NATURAL CRACKING Solid wood continues to respond to its environment after carving. As cedar naturally expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity, checking, cracks, and small separations may develop or change over time. These are normal characteristics of solid-wood sculpture and are not considered defects. They contribute to the natural character and individuality of each piece.
CARE & DISPLAY For the longest life, protected or covered placement is recommended whenever possible. When displayed outdoors, periodically apply an appropriate exterior wood sealer according to the manufacturer's directions to help protect the wood and finish from moisture and UV exposure. Avoid prolonged contact with standing water or persistently wet ground.
