22" CHAINSAW-CARVED BLACK BEAR IN PUMPKIN
One-of-a-Kind Wood Sculpture by Jess Alice Bold, playful, and unmistakably one of a kind, this hand-carved black bear emerges from a sculpted pumpkin in an original piece of chainsaw art designed to make a statement. Standing approximately 22 inches tall, this substantial sculpture combines the rich, dramatic finish of a black bear with the warm natural tones of the pumpkin. Deeply carved fur, expressive features, and dimensional details give the bear a strong presence while preserving the character and texture of the original timber.
Individually chainsaw-carved and finished by artist Jess Alice, this piece transitions beautifully from fall and Halloween displays into year-round rustic décor. Display it in an entryway, beside a fireplace, on a covered porch, in a lodge or cabin, or anywhere that calls for an unexpected piece of original wood art.
ONE OF A KIND No molds. No mass production. Each Jess Alice sculpture begins with an individual piece of timber and is carved by hand, allowing the natural shape, grain, knots, and markings of the wood to influence the finished artwork. These natural variations, combined with the individual carving process, ensure that no two sculptures will ever be exactly alike.
NATURAL WOOD Solid wood naturally responds to changes in temperature and humidity, and checking or small cracks may develop over time. These are normal characteristics of genuine wood sculpture and contribute to the individuality of the piece. For outdoor display, periodic application of an appropriate exterior wood sealer is recommended to help preserve the finish. Protected or covered placement will provide the greatest longevity.
