One-of-a-Kind Relief Carved Wood Sculpture by Jess Alice Functional art with a story of its own. This one-of-a-kind cedar side table features a single owl relief carved directly into the wood, allowing the natural character of the log to remain an integral part of the design.
Standing approximately 22 inches tall and 10 inches wide, its compact size makes it a beautiful accent beside a chair, sofa, entryway, bedside, or covered outdoor seating area. The solid wood top provides a functional surface while the deeply carved owl transforms the piece into original sculptural art. Each detail is individually carved and finished by artist Jess Alice. Burned accents create depth and contrast throughout the owl while highlighting the warm tones, grain, knots, and natural markings of the cedar.
ONE OF A KIND No molds. No mass production. Each Jess Alice piece is individually created from real timber, allowing the unique characteristics of the wood to help shape the finished artwork. Natural variations ensure no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
NATURAL CEDAR Solid wood naturally responds to changes in temperature and humidity, and checking or small cracks may develop over time. These are normal characteristics of genuine wood and contribute to the individuality of the piece. For outdoor use, periodic application of an appropriate exterior wood sealer is recommended to help preserve the finish.
