14" CHAINSAW-CARVED CEDAR MUSHROOM
One-of-a-Kind Wood Sculpture by Jess Alice Inspired by the quiet beauty of the forest floor, this 14-inch mushroom transforms a simple piece of cedar into an original work of sculptural art.
Individually chainsaw-carved and finished by artist Jess Alice, the piece features a beautifully shaped natural wood stem beneath a richly burned mushroom cap. Hand-carved spots reveal the lighter cedar beneath the dark finish, creating striking contrast while celebrating the natural grain and character of the wood. At approximately 14 inches tall, its sculptural form makes a distinctive accent for an entryway, hearth, bookshelf, covered porch, garden, cabin, or woodland-inspired interior.
ONE OF A KIND No molds. No mass production. Each Jess Alice sculpture begins with an individual piece of timber and is carved by hand. Natural variations in grain, knots, color, shape, and carving ensure that every piece has a character entirely its own.
NATURAL CEDAR Solid cedar is naturally suited for both indoor and outdoor display. As genuine wood responds to changes in temperature and humidity, natural checking and small cracks may develop over time. These are normal characteristics of solid-wood sculpture and contribute to the individuality of the piece. For outdoor display, periodic application of an appropriate exterior wood sealer is recommended to help preserve the finish. Protected or covered placement will provide the greatest longevity.
