14" CHAINSAW-CARVED CEDAR BEAR IN CAULDRON

Standing approximately 14 inches tall, this hand-carved piece features an expressive bear tucked inside a sculpted cauldron, creating a playful composition with just enough Halloween character to make it distinctive without limiting it to a single display style.
Individually chainsaw-carved and finished by artist Jess Alice, the sculpture combines deeply carved fur, dimensional facial features, and contrasting burned details that bring definition to both the bear and cauldron while allowing the natural character of the cedar to remain part of the artwork. Its compact size makes it ideal for an entryway, hearth, tabletop, covered porch, garden, storefront, or alongside pumpkins, ravens, ghosts, and other pieces in a seasonal collection.

NATURAL CEDAR & NATURAL CRACKING Solid wood continues to respond to its environment after it has been carved. As cedar naturally expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity, checking, cracks, and small separations may develop or change over time. These are normal characteristics of solid-wood sculpture and are not considered defects. They become part of the evolving character of the timber and contribute to what makes each piece truly one of a kind.
CARE & DISPLAY For the longest life, protected or covered placement is recommended whenever possible. When displayed outdoors, periodically apply an appropriate exterior wood sealer according to the manufacturer's directions to help protect the wood and finish from moisture and UV exposure. Avoid prolonged contact with standing water or persistently wet surfaces. Natural checking generally does not require repair. Larger checks may be stabilized or professionally filled if desired.
